Today, my friend and I went to McDonald’s in our Halloween costumes. We went into the PlayPlace, and met a few little eight year-olds there. One of them asked us what we were, and his friend poked him and said, “You dummy! She’s [me, dressed as Harry Potter] Harry Potter, and HE’S [my friend, dressed as Edward Cullen] obviously gay.” My faith in the youth of America has been restored. MLIA.

(via porkandbeans)How pathetic.
true that.
I’m not making a dig at anyone here by the way, but I have to make a point before I go insane.
I’ve noticed a lot of people say that they don’t like the British accent. Most recently, Swetlana and Cristina. They’re obviously entitled to their opinion, there’s accents that I don’t particularly like, but there is no such thing as a British accent!Britain is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland… that is hundreds, possibly thousands of different accents. Ok, I live in London, there’s an example. More specifically, I live in South East London. There’s a hell of a lot of accents being thrown around here. Some are very similar, some are extremely different. That’s part of one city in Britain, and already there are a lot of accents.
So yeah, not being funny, but there is no British accent. It just really gets me EVERY time!
Yeah I guess I didn’t think about that. I just refered to it as the “british accent” because it’s Great Britain. But yeah.. I guess I’d probably re-act the same way if someone said the “German accent” is bad or that they don’t like it, because like Britain Germany is made up of 16 states..
